A fire tanker with a ladder АЦЛ 4,0-40-24 (4320) is designed for fire and rescue operations and provides: transportation of combat crew, fire extinguishing substances and fire-technical weapons; rescue operations in multi-storey buildings; evacuation of people from high-rise buildings; water supply from the tank, open reservoir or hydrant through hand and carriage trunks, including from the height of the stairs; the supply of medium and low air-mechanical foam using a foaming agent of its own capacity or an external source, including from the height of the stairs; use as a crane in fire and rescue operations; for auxiliary work. ATSL can be used as an independent combat unit, as a tanker, ladder, or as a pumping car when working “in pumping” with other tankers. It can be operated in temperate climates with an annual temperature difference ranging from - 45 ° С to + 40 ° С on roads of all kinds and off-road.
