Description
The MM400 / 800 is a new series of microscopes designed for industrial measurements and image analysis. They integrate critical functions and provide complete digital control for maximum measurement accuracy for the most complex industrial applications.
The systems support many new and advanced features, including connection via Nikon's electronic network hub, which provides full integration of microscope peripherals with the new Nikon EMAX2 metrology software.
CPU
The DP-E1 processor is compact and easy to use. For quick measurement and data processing, you can position the digital display device next to the eyepiece, while the keypad is conveniently located “at hand”. The one-piece interface of the DP-E1 processor and the platform of your computer provides ease of calculation and control of measurement results. A new stage 12 x 8 for large parts (only for model MM-800) easy operation
Improved design with computer simulation (CAE) for load analysis allows you to secure a large sample table for working with large parts. A table with a stroke of 300 x 200 mm (12 x 8 inches) can be attached to the MM-800 model.
High quality lenses
CFI60 LU Plan Fluor Series: Transmission speed in the UV range has been improved for new CFI60 LU Plan Fluor lenses. These lenses are suitable for various research and analysis tasks and have all the characteristics of relatively high numerical apertures and long working distances inherent to Nikon. For observations in the regime of the bright field, dark field, simple polarization, DIC and UV epi-fluorescence. Lenses are high resolution and easy to use.
CFI60 L Plan EPI CR Series lenses with correction rings: The CFI60 series now includes CFI60 L Plan EPI CR lenses for use with thinner cover glasses used in liquid crystal displays and highly integrated electronic devices with high packing density. The correction of the cover glass can be continuously performed from 0 mm to 1.2 mm (0 - 0.7 mm and 0.6 - 1.3 mm for 100x) with the help of a correction ring. The 100x lens has a high numerical aperture of 0.85 and at the same time provides the possibility of obtaining high-contrast images of cells and structures, while the presence of a cover glass will not affect the image quality.
Universal constructions
The design of the MM-400/800 measuring microscope has been modernized in order to provide users with more freedom and flexibility in the choice of modules for system configurations. The system can be configured according to your requirements - using extra-long instrumental lenses (1x to 100x), or using a universal system configuration with lenses on a rotating turret. In addition, the design of the entire microscope as a whole has increased strength, and it offers large, high-precision digital tables. The legendary Nikon design maintains excellent reliability and measurement accuracy after many years of intensive use.
E-MAX data processing software
The digital image measurement characteristics of the E-MAX software have been enhanced. In combination with a Nikon digital camera and a measuring microscope, the system allows you to achieve measurement accuracy that was previously impossible.
Laser autofocus through the lens
These are the first measuring microscopes that have the additional function of laser autofocusing through the lens. This laser autofocus system has a focusing speed of 0.5 s and a high repeatability of up to 0.5 μm (20x objective 0.75 μm spot diameter).
Focusing Device (FA)
A newly designed prism prism with curved / stepped surfaces provides clear images for precise focusing during measurements along the Z axis. Measurement errors caused by differences in depth of sharp vision in the image plane of different lenses are minimized.
Built-in continuous lighting control
A continuous lighting control device is built into the system that allows you to control the lighting from a computer without touching the drive on the main body. Measurements can now be made under the same conditions, which provides accurate video edge detection for repeated measurements.
CYN-E1 8 Segment LED Ring Light
This annular illuminator provides the ability to control lighting from eight directions. In order to achieve repeatability of measurements, it can be controlled by a computer using the E-Max software. It allows you to determine the edges and artifacts of parts whose images are difficult to obtain by adjusting the angle and intensity of all eight segments.
Motorized Z Movement (LM Model Tripods)
The delivery set includes a motorized vertical movement mechanism with a speed of 10 mm / s. A dedicated controller provides precise control of up / down movements. Retrieving and processing digital images
Using a Nikon digital camera and E-MAX software streamlines the entire workflow, from monitoring and image capture to storing high-quality digital detail images.
MM controller backpack interface
Information about lighting, moving the stage along the X / Y axis and measuring along the Z axis can be transmitted to the MM controller as an interface for connecting to an external computer that has E-MAX software installed for data processing and system control.
White LED Illuminator
High intensity white LED illuminators are supplied as standard for surface and contour illumination. This illuminator does not require the replacement of light bulbs, and it also maintains a constant color temperature, which allows to achieve high accuracy and efficiency of measurements. For the universal type (except for FA), a newly developed 12 V / 50 W halogen lamp is available. The brightness has been significantly improved, especially at high magnifications.
